Interested in evolutionary biology. For my PhD I am working on phylogenomics, adaptation and introgression characterization in lynx genus. Currently at BSC doing a three-months stay with Toni Gabaldón lab to resolve phylogenomic relationships within the lynxes, disentangle the introgressed regions due to present/ancient hybridization, detection of genes under selection pressures as well as structural variants characterization.
