Little description about your professional interest (max. 400 chars): My research
is based on two main projects: understanding the molecular basis of the
interaction of host cells with Mucorales, and the complexity of a unique RNA
interference pathway that is involved in virulence. In both cases, the main goals
are to identify new virulence factors and to analyse the complex response of host
cells against those kinds of pathogens.
