My research focuses on the genetic mechanisms of stress signaling and drug resistance in pathogenic fungi. By utilizing transposon mutagenesis followed by targeted next-generation DNA sequencing, I can perform comprehensive, forward screens in eukaryotic pathogens during exposure to different stressful conditions such as treatment with clinical antifungal drugs.
